1. Introduction This Privacy Policy explains how BitLoop Lab ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the ZeroSnap mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. The core functionality of this App is built around local device storage; we do not upload, store, or process your photos on any external servers.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It To provide the App's core functionality, we request specific device permissions. We handle the data accessed via these permissions as follows:
Camera Data: The App requires access to your device's camera to capture photos. These photos are processed entirely on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or have any access to your camera feed or the photos you take.
Storage and Media Files: The App requires access to your local storage to save the photos you capture and to execute the scheduled auto-deletion process. If you choose the "Save to Gallery" feature, the App will write the image to your public device gallery.
Biometric Data (App Lock): If you use the premium App Lock feature, authentication is handled natively by your device's Android operating system. We do not collect, store, or have access to your fingerprint, face data, or PIN.
3. Data Retention and Deletion The primary utility of the App is the automatic deletion of media.
Photos captured within the App are stored in scoped/internal storage.
Upon expiration of the user-selected timer, the App uses local background processes (Android WorkManager) to permanently delete the specific file from your device.
Because we do not store your data on external servers, there is no remote data to delete upon request. Uninstalling the app will clear its localized database and any remaining temporary photos.
4. Third-Party Services While we do not collect personal data, the App integrates third-party services that may collect data for advertising and analytics. These services operate under their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements in the free version of the App. AdMob may use advertising IDs and cookies to serve personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences through your Android device settings.
Google Play Billing: Used to process premium upgrades securely. We do not collect or have access to your credit card information or direct billing details.
5. Children's Privacy Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
