Bitdefender Central is your one-stop online platform to manage all your Bitdefender products and services. Whether you’re using Bitdefender on your PC, Mac, or mobile device, managing your subscription and licenses is easy through the Central dashboard..
1. Sign in to Bitdefender Central
Visit https://central.bitdefender.com
Enter your email and password, or sign in with Google/Apple if linked
Once logged in, click on the “My Subscriptions” tab in the left menu
2. View Active Subscriptions
The name of your active product (e.g., Bitdefender Total Security)
The number of devices protected
Days left before expiration
Auto-renewal status (enabled/disabled)
3. Add or Enter a New Activation Code
Go to “My Subscriptions”
Click “Activate with code”
Enter the code and click “Activate”
4. Assign Licenses to Devices
If you have multiple devices to protect:
1.Go to “My Devices”
2.Click “Install Protection” on a new device
3.Choose the product and follow instructions to send the installer via:

Direct download
5. Transfer or Remove Licenses
Go to “My Devices”
Select the device to be removed
Click the trash/bin icon to remove protection
Install Bitdefender on the new device using the same subscription
6. Enable or Disable Auto-Renewal
Go to “My Subscriptions”
Click on the product with auto-renewal
Choose “Manage”
You’ll be redirected to the Cleverbridge payment portal
Disable or update your auto-renewal preferences
7. Share Your Subscription with Family
Go to “My Devices”
Click “Install on a different device”
Enter the recipient's email and send them a download link
Use labels to name devices clearly (e.g., “John’s Laptop”, “Mom’s Phone”)
Set calendar reminders before your subscription expires
Keep auto-renewal enabled if you prefer hands-free protection
Protect family members easily by sharing installers
Q1: Can I combine two Bitdefender activation codes?
Yes. When both codes are for the same product, the second code can extend your subscription duration.
Q2: What happens when I remove a device?
The license becomes available, and you can assign it to another device without losing protection time.
Q3: How can I check how many devices are in use?
Log in to Bitdefender Central → “My Subscriptions” → See the number of devices used vs. available.
Q4: Can I transfer my license to someone else?
Yes. You can remove the product from your device and share the installer with another user.
Q5: What happens if I let my subscription expire?
Your devices will lose real-time protection, and Central will show a warning. You can reactivate anytime with a new code or renewal.
