BistroI utilizes a local-first architecture to ensure your financial and personnel data never leaves your browser cache without your explicit consent.
First-Time Initialization: Upon first access, you will be prompted to initialize your Sovereign Security Passkey.
Configuration: Create a robust, memorable passkey. This key is the secure gateway for all administrative actions (exporting financial statements, modifying payroll, changing security settings).
⚠️ Data Sovereignty Warning: Because your data is stored locally, losing this passkey will make it impossible to perform admin-level tasks. Please store it securely.
The POS module is optimized for high-speed checkout and order processing.
Catalog Management: The system automatically categorizes your menu. Use the tabbed interface to switch seamlessly between Appetizers, Main Course, Rice & Bread, etc.
Processing an Order:
Select items to add them to the Order Cart.
If applicable, input a Manual Discount (%).
Select the Payment Gateway (Cash, Bank, bkash, or Foodpanda).
If Cash is selected, input the Cash Tendered to calculate the change due.
Finalization: Click "Finalize & Print Invoice" to trigger the printer queue and commit the transaction to your financial ledger.
Monitor your operational capital and maintain accurate records of every single transaction.
Recording Outgoings: Use the "Record Daily Operations Outgoing" form for petty expenses (Utilities, Cleaning, Rent).
Vendor Management: Use the "Vendor & Purchase Log" to record specific food-related invoices. This automatically categorizes the expense for your Food Cost Index calculations.
Vault Transfers: When the cash drawer exceeds your Petty Cash Float, use the "Vault Transfer" form to shift funds to your bank pool or physical vault.
Monthly Statements: Need a breakdown for your accountant? Use the Monthly Statement export button. You will be required to authenticate with your Administrative Passkey to generate this secure PDF report.

Registration: Use the "+ Register Staff" button to archive all employee data, including NID, emergency contacts, and blood groups.
Attendance Tracking: The attendance grid uses a quick toggle system:
P = Present
A = Absent
L = Late/Leave
W = Working Day
Payroll Engine: The system automatically calculates salary deductions based on the A (Absent) days logged in the attendance module.
Legal Compliance: Use the "Job Contracts Agreement Generator" to select a staff member and document type (Appointment, Contract, Notice) to instantly export a formatted, professional PDF.
Q: My POS print job didn't trigger.
A: Ensure your browser is not blocking pop-ups. BistroI generates a pop-up window for the print preview; if you see an icon in the address bar indicating a blocked pop-up, set it to "Always allow for this site."
Q: I forgot my passkey. Can I reset it?
A: Because of the secure local-first architecture, the passkey cannot be recovered by external support. If you are authorized personnel, you can rotate it via the Security Settings tab only if you have the current passkey. If you have completely forgotten it, you must clear your browser's local storage (Note: this action will permanently wipe your local ledger history).
Q: Why is my Net Profit not matching my cash drawer physical total?
A: Check your "Vault Transfers" log. Your Net Profit calculations include all digital sales (Bank, bkash, Foodpanda) that may not be physically present in your manual cash drawer.
