A practical, people-first approach to Albany's future.

Affordability

Albany should be a place where working people can afford to live, raise a family, and build a future.

I will focus on responsible decisions that recognize the reality of household budgets while looking for practical ways to reduce the pressures of housing, utilities, transportation and other everyday costs.

I believe we can pursue solutions that strengthen our community without unnecessarily increasing the financial burden on residents.

Accessible Government

Government works best when people can understand it, participate in it, and trust that their voices are being heard.

I believe elected officials should be visble. approachable and accountable; not just during election season.

I will prioritize clear communication, meaningful community engagement, and being available to listen to residents before making decisions that affect their neighborhoods and their lives.

Responsible Growth & Infrastructure

Albany is growing, and we need to plan for that growth thoughtfully. New housing and economic development should be balanced with the capacity of our roads, utilities, public services, and other infrastructure.

I support making smart, long-term investments while being responsible with taxpayer dollars and preserving the character of established neighborhoods.

Housing & Homeownership

Everyone deserves access to safe, stable housing, and Albany needs a range of housing options for all stages of life and all income levels.

I will support responsible housing development, protect opportunities for homeownership, and make sure we are planning for enough buildable land to meet future needs.

Housing policy should focus on creating real opportunities; not simply checking a box.

Community Connections

Strong communities are built when people know their neighbors and have opportunities to participate.

My experience in public service, education, emergency response, nonprofits and community organizations has shown me the difference that connection can make.

I want to strengthen partnerships between residents, local organizations, schools, businesses, nonprofits and government so that we can solve problems together.

Food Security

No one in Albany should have to choose between putting food on the table and paying their rent, utilities, or other essential bills. I have seen firsthand how food insecurity affects individuals and families, and I believe the city can be a stronger partner in supporting the organizations already doing this work.

I will advocate for collaboration, practical resources, and solutions that help families access nutritious food with dignity.

City Culture & Quality of Life

Albany needs to be more than a place where people live; it should be a place where people want to spend time, build relationships and feel proud to call home.

Parks, community centers, local businesses, arts, recreation, historic spaces and neighborhood activities all contribute to our quality of life.

I will support a city culture that welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds while respecting the character and history that makes Albany unique.

Transportation & Connected Neighborhoods

People should have practical ways to get where they need to go, whether they drive, walk, bike, or use public transportation.

As Albany grows, we should look for opportunities to make our streets and neighborhoods safer and more connected while prioritizing investments that provide real value to residents.

Transportation is not just about getting from one place to another; it is about access to jobs, education, businesses, services, and community.

Public Safety and Compassion

Albany residents deserve to feel safe in their neighborhoods, parks, and public spaces. At the same time, difficult issues like houselessness require compassion, consistency, and practical solutions.

I support clear expectations and equitable enforcement while also recognizing that enforcement alone does not solve the underlying challenges.

We need to work with community partners to make sure resources are being used effectively and that residents, businesses, park users, and vulnerable community members are all considered.

Education & Opportunity

Education has played an important role in my own life, and I believe it is one of the strongest tools we have for creating opportunity.

Albany benefits when residents can access education, workforce training, childcare, and pathways to meaningful employment.

I will look for opportunities to strengthen connections between the city, educational institutions, local employers, and community organizations so that people have more opportunities to succeed close to home.
