About Me
About Me
My name is Sneha (pronounced SNAY-huh, means "love"). I am a queer, Thamizh/Tamil-American person, and my pronouns are she/they. I became a birthworker (doula) after working as a sexual health educator in Oakland, CA, and Santa Cruz, CA. I trained with Sumi's Touch POC-Only Doula Training because I wanted my work to not just be explicitly anti-racist, but to center the consent and desires of queer, trans, and BIPOC people. My loves include talking about trauma-informed care and harm reduction, cooking, and being in nature.
It's my strongest belief that everyone deserves focused support for all transformative experiences in life regardless of their ability to pay. Please inquire about my sliding fee scale and pro-bono slots via the "Contact" page.
