We respect your privacy.
Birthday Sender does not collect, store, or sell any personal data.
All birthday data, contacts, and messages remain on your device.
No account or login is required.
We do not collect or store:
Names, phone numbers, or contacts
Dates of birth, photos, or relationship types
Messages, notes, or gift ideas
Analytics, advertising IDs, or custom crash reports
No personal information leaves your device.
The birthdays, notes, and gift ideas you add are stored locally on your device.
The app may access your contacts only if you choose to import birthdays; data stays local and is never uploaded.
When you send a message via SMS or WhatsApp, the message is sent directly through those apps.
We do not see, process, or store your messages.
We have no servers and no remote storage.
Birthday reminders are scheduled locally on your device (J-1 and Day J).
They are handled through iOS notification systems and are not sent or tracked externally.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple.
Apple processes payment, region, and tax data under their Apple Privacy Policy.
We may see non-identifying purchase status (active/inactive) to unlock features.
We never receive your credit card or billing information.
If you’ve opted in at the system level, Apple may share anonymous diagnostics or crash data.
We do not enable additional analytics, and we do not attempt to re-identify users from those reports.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
In the EEA/UK, users must be 16 + unless parental consent is valid under local law.
The app is designed for general audiences, not children.
All data processing happens on-device only.
We encourage users to protect their phones with passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
We cannot access your local data or recover it if deleted.
We retain no personal data.
Birthdays, notes, and contacts remain on your device until you delete the app or the entries manually.
We do not transfer or process any data outside your device.
There are no international data transfers because no personal data is collected.
Where applicable (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA / similar laws), you may have rights such as access, correction, or erasure.
Since we do not store personal data, we generally have nothing to act on.
For purchases or Apple-related data, please contact Apple Support directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect feature changes or legal updates.
When we do, we’ll update the Effective Date above and post the new version within the app or on our App Store listing.
Material changes apply prospectively only.
