Parent:

• Please email your cosplayer any information you feel comfortable sharing. That might mean a first name or nickname, the age they're turning, a favorite color or part of this character's fandom -- anything that might be useful to personalize a video!

• Remember that this is a volunteer effort. Cosplayers might not be able to meet your date or other requests. Be polite, patient, and kind.

• Watch the video yourself before sharing it with your child. I trust our cosplay community to be child friendly and safe, but being a parent also means being smart just in case. :-)

• First of all, thank you so much for volunteering. You're awesome!

• If you won't be able to get it done in time, just be honest. We're all doing our best these days!

• What you record is up to you. One sentence is fine, and more is fine.

• Thoughts on sharing the video -- the file is likely too large to simply email. My best suggestions are either a Google Drive link or a private-URL YouTube video.
