We believe that every child deserves to have the joy of celebrating their birthday no matter their current situation. We remember the magic of a birthday as a child; the goal of Birthday Blessings is to ensure a child gets to experience that excitement and happiness regardless of their current family or financial situation. We work to collect supplies to assemble and distribute birthday boxes to children in hospitals, foster care, homeless shelters and home environments that do not have the means to celebrate a birthday. Boxes include a gift, cake (or cake mix), candles, utensils and some small decorations such as buttons and party blowers. A few days prior to a child's birthday, the box is dropped off for delivery to them and/or their family. The information regarding recipients is completely anonymous.
