The Birmingham Business Association is an association of professional and like minded businesses based in the Birmingham area. We encourage all of our members to support each other. Every one of the businesses that belong to our association conduct themselves in a professional manner. Birmingham has seen 1400 years of development, during which time it has advanced from a little seventh century Anglo Saxon village on the edge of the Forest of Arden at the edge of early Mercia to turn into a significant city. A blend of movement, advancement and municipal pride assisted with achieving significant social and monetary changes and to make the Industrial Revolution, motivating the development of comparable urban areas over the world.
The most recent 200 years have seen Birmingham ascend from market town into the quickest developing city of the nineteenth century, prodded on by a blend civic investment, scientific gains, commercial transformation and by a steady influx of migrant workers into its suburbs. By the twentieth century Birmingham had become the metropolitan centre of the United Kingdom's manufacturing and automotive industries, having procured itself a standing first as a city of canals, then cars, and most as of late as a significant European convention and shopping destination.
By the start of the 21st century, Birmingham lay at the core of a significant post-modern city encompassed by educational, manufacturing, shopping, sporting and conferencing facilities.

Cadbury World is now the only tourist attraction in the world situated in Birmingham, England. A second location in Dunedin, New Zealand, shut in May 2018. Cadburys World features a self guided tour, made and run by the Cadbury Company. The Cadbury manufacturing business was born in 1831, when John Cadbury decided to start producing on a commercial scale. The visit tells the historical backdrop of chocolate, and of the Cadbury business.
