Lotte Hollands: Liouville Blocks from Spectral Networks
I will propose a new, abelianised description of Liouville conformal blocks (at arbitrary central charge) in terms of spectral networks. I will start with an introduction into spectral networks, and why we expect them to be relevant in Liouville theory. I will motivate how spectral network should appear in Liouville theory, making a relation to the standard free-field formalism, but will then argue that the latter formalism has its shortcomings and develop a new description that is centered around the Maulik-Okounkov R-matrix. (This talk is based on the paper arXiv:2604.25463 with my PhD student Subrabalan Murugesan.)
