At QEHB NHS Trust we offer both Consultant-led and Nurse-led Outpatient Clinics for patients with following adrenal conditions:
Adrenal incidentalomas
Functioning adrenocortical adenomas (adrenal Cushing Syndrome, primary aldosteronism)
Mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS)
Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC)
Phaeochromocytoma
The Adrenal Multi-Disciplinary Team at UHB NHS Trust includes Endocrinologists, Nurses, Radiologists, Surgeons, Oncologists, Pathologists, and Interventional Radiologist for a total of 23 core members.

Advanced imaging (i.e. triple-phase CT, FDG-PET, MIBG, DOTATE scans) is available in the UHB Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Departments for the diagnosis and treatment of adrenal tumours, phaeochromocytomas and paragangliomas.
AVS is performed by expert QEH NHS Trust Interventional Radiologists within the diagnostic work up for patients with primary aldosteronism.
Hepatobiliary surgery (i.e. liver resection) and cardiothoracic surgery (i.e. video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery) are provided by QEH NHS Trust expert surgeons.
Genetic screening for familial syndromes is offered at QEH NHS Trust for patients with phaeochromocytomas, bilateral adrenal adenomas with autonomous cortisol excess, adrenocortical carcinomas and other rare conditions.
Systemic chemotherapy is provided for patients witnadvanced adrenocortical carcinoma and malignant phaeochromocytoma in the QEH NHS Trust Cancer Centre.
