Andrew seemingly manages to escape the forest, but is soon caught and returned to Johan, who burns him alive while forcing Gabriel, who had come to give himself up, to watch. Chikku, cowering in fear, is taunted by Johan who shouts into the forest that there is no escape. Realising he has no option but to fight back, Chikku leaves the forest, managing to kill two of Johan's henchmen before confronting Johan himself. Seemingly pleased with Chikku's new-found courage, Johan laughs and offers to tell him a joke. Before he can do so he is run over and killed by a lorry (driven by Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo appearance). The driver briefly laments that this is the 36th time he has hit someone, before shrugging it off and offering Chikku a lift. The film ends with Chikku in Pondicherry, ordering a biriyani in a local restaurant, as the narrator hopes that he will be able to return to living a simple life.

The Original Background Score or Music of the film is composed by Vinoth Thanigasalam and the songs are composed by Neil Sebastian and Judah Paul. The songs album featured seven tracks with lyrics written by Umadevi, Suhail Koya, Tenzin Rangdol, Payal John and Solar Sai.[citation needed]

Prakash bought the remake rights of the film Salt N' Pepper. It is a romantic story between two couples who accidentally get to know each other through their common love for food.[13] Besides directing the film, Prakash Raj has also acted in and produced the film. Tabu was initially roped in to play the lead female role but was dropped out.[14] Sneha signed the film later as a leading lady, playing Shwetha Menon's role from the original.[15] In May 2013, Prakash acknowledged that he would be directing Sneha in his upcoming venture on an episode of Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi that featured her and her husband Prasanna. Saymukta Hornad, daughter of popular Kannada actor Sudha Belawadi was cast for a role in the film and said that she was taking Telugu and Tamil lessons as she would be part of all three versions too.[16] A newcomer, Tejus, was selected by Prakash to play the role of Naveen, the love interest of Samyukta Hornad's character.[17] All the songs in the film are choreographed by Bollywood's popular choreographer and Prakash's wife Pony Verma Prakash Rai, who also debuted as an associate director with this film.[18]

What is Good: The auto race, Kamal's results scene, the songs, the background score are all good. Anish shows of his flair for emotional moments in the film. Kamal Kamaraju is a fine actor and he performs quite naturally. He is not your conventional Tollywood hero, but he can carve out a niche for himself. Bindu Madhavi is beautiful and acts quite well too. She gets a meaty role and must say she sinks her teeth into it. Rao Ramesh gets a short role, but the spark of his father is visible. The photography by Shamdat is topnotch and the frames are all very well composed. Manikanth Kadri does a very good job of the background score and the songs come out very well on screen. 006ab0faaa
