We respect your privacy. BirdBudget is designed to work on-device and does not collect personal data.
You can use the app without creating an account. We do not request names, emails, or unique identifiers.
We do not collect, store, or share personal information. Expense entries, notes, categories, favorites, and templates remain on your device.
All core features—adding expenses, editing/deleting entries, filtering, summaries, and templates—run locally. There is no cloud backend, analytics SDK, advertising network, or background transmission to us.
If you allow access to the camera or photo library for receipt attachments, that access is used only to add images to your entries. Media stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it. We do not receive your media.
When you export or back up data, files are created locally and shared only through destinations and apps you select (e.g., device storage or your chosen share sheet). We do not receive or process those files.
If you enable reminders (e.g., monthly budget check), they are delivered as local notifications configured on your device. No notification data is sent to us or third parties.
You can modify or delete entries at any time. Because data is stored only on your device, we cannot recover deleted records.
The app is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since no data is collected, there is no profiling or behavioral tracking.
If this Policy changes, the date above will be updated in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
