Prof. Biplab Basak
I am currently an Associate Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Prior to joining the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, I was an Inspire Faculty at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata Centre and was an SERB Indo-US Research Fellow at Cornell University (USA). I received Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore in June 2015. I obtained my Master of Science degree in Mathematics from IIT Kanpur in 2010.

Research Topics: Algebraic Topology, Combinatorial Topology and Discrete Mathematics: Crystallizations of PL-Manifolds; Edge coloring of graphs and its applications on PL-Manifolds; Minimal triangulations of manifolds; Combinatorial properties and characterizations of normal pseudomanifolds.
