Lately there have been more and more smart machines that have been taking over regular human tasks but as it grows the bigger picture is that robots will take over a lot of tasks now done by people like agriculture and also bio-robotics has helped people to develop new robots like prosthetic arm which is a boon to the disabled people .Bio-robotics simply means biology plus robotics.

There have been making innovations in bio-robotics field like Autonomous weeding robot which helps farmers to manage weeds in farms. It is developed by ecorobotix and uses a camera to detect plants. Weighing only 130 kgs, it uses sensor technology and GPS to navigate the field. One of the special quality of it is that it runs on solar power. Bio-robotics not only excels in agriculture field but also in medical field. Bio-robotics plays a vital role in covid 19 outbreak. Disease prevention is vital and can be done by using Robot-controlled noncontact ultraviolet (UV) surface disinfector. Generally UV rays content 3 types of UV rays, one among it is UVC that can affect the DNA of anyone, humans as well as viral particles. UVC are the rays that are filtered by ozone layer before light reaching the earth surface. But, can be synthesized artificially also and used against coronavirus. The radiation warps the structure of their genetic material and prevents the viral particles from making copies of themselves.

There are many other innovations which contribute to betterment of nature and humans like infrared thermometer, prosthetic arm and many more. Many robots are not only aiding the exterior of the humans but also curing them inside. Thus, bio-robotics is one of the most important branches.
