Started as Vocational Biotechnology Course.
Degree Biotechnology Course started in 2002.
Post graduation (M. Sc.) was started in 2005.
Research (Ph.D.) was started in 2009.
The department has 1500 sq. ft. state of art biotechnology laboratories
UGC CPE AWARD – FIST and STAR STATUS
Added infrastructure for ATC, PTC, Molecular biology and bioprocess technology linked with CSIR FDA recognized Scientific Research Centre
