The app uses internet access only to retrieve publicly available biosimilar and biologic patent information from public FDA-related sources, including:
FDA biosimilar product information pages
FDA Purple Book / biologic patent listing pages
When the app connects to these websites, the external websites may automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser/user-agent information, device network information, and request time as part of normal internet communication. Biosimilars Tracker does not use this information to identify you.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app stores certain non-personal app data locally on your device, including:
Public biosimilar product listings
Public biologic patent listing information
The last time the app updated its FDA data cache
Temporary in-app search or filter state while using the app
This information is stored only to make the app work faster and to allow the app to display FDA-related information even when the external source is temporarily unavailable.

Biosimilars Tracker may periodically check for updated public FDA-related information in the background when an internet connection is available. This is used only to keep the app’s public biosimilar and patent information current.

Data Retention and Deletion
Biosimilars Tracker stores cached public data and app update timestamps on your device. You can delete this local data at any time by:

Uninstalling the app
