Who are we?

We are a teen-run biology-related organization, aspiring to raise awareness and provide exposure about biology-related careers through events, guest speaker events, and workshops!

Objective:

Our current objective is to start our first awareness event through a career fair! We would love to help increase interest in the biology field through these events by reaching out to teenagers across the world.

Organization:

Within the Board of Management, there are several departments that work together to conduct our events and workshops. These departments include:

• The Website Directors help edit and modify the official website of BioPower. They make changes and constantly update the website for any new events coming up!

• The Social Media Directors manage the social media accounts of BioPower. This includes the platforms Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok to reach out to more teenagers about events conducted.

• The Event Managers help conduct the events and organize workshops. They also reach out to guest speakers and advertise for more people to find out about BioPower through flyers and emails!

• The Content Directors of BioPower implement the ideas from the Event Managers and brainstorm ideas. These include different topics to be discussed in the career fair and new interests to discover within biology!

• The Ambassadors and Recruitment team recruit more members in the organization and create partnerships with other organizations. They also help recruit guest speakers with the Event Managers to spread the word about BioPower events!
