Abstract Overall study aims, and objectives are derived from the global issue from the outbreak of COVID-19 virus in Wuhan, China back in December 2019. Within 3 months of the virus outbreak, most of government in each country has instructed and implemented National Emergency, and Movement Control Order here in Malaysia. This requires public to stay at home for more than 3 months except for frontliners in combating and controlling the spread of the virus.
In recent research, elderly groups are the one most impacted psychologically in this pandemic situation, especially one staying in elderly care homes which most of the elderly care homes are implementing co-living concept within a landed residential unit such as bungalow and terrace house which initially designed for small family. Proposed development will be Elderly Active Ageing Hub as responding towards the needs of the proposed site. Overall development will be focusing on improving elderly indoor living environment & mental health through Biophilic design integration.
Enhancing overall site potential : people connectivity, elderly activities, culture and lifestyle.
