Oscar’s research aims to understand the trophic interactions in marine planktonic food webs and the emerging biogeochemical and ecological impacts. Oscar received his PhD from University of Michigan, where he studied the impacts of omnivory on the effects of biodiversity on ecosystem functioning with Bradley Cardinale. He then worked as postdoctoral researcher at National Taiwan University with Chih-hao Hsieh to quantify trophic interactions among marine plankton and the emerging ecological and biogeochemical consequences. He joined National Chung Hsing University in 2024.
