The BioBake Initiative was founded by Nishka Hegde, a rising sophomore living with her family in Issaquah, Washington. The idea to convert her original online bakery into the BioBake Initiative came forth from her wanting to teach others about the importance of diet. Through the BioBake Initiative, she has donated over $2500 to Seattle Children's Hospital and Fred Hutch Cancer Research. Some of Nishka's hobbies include reading, swimming, and listening to music.
