Biomedical Ultrasound Engineering Lab at Department of Biomedical Engineering, Kyung Hee University carries out exciting research in areas spanning the biomedical applications of ultrasound, including therapeutic ultrasound, high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), HIFU-induced mechanical tissue fractionation (histotripsy), sonothrombolysis, ultrasonic tissue decellularisation, ultrasonic cell stimulation / brain stimulation, acoustic tweezing, and mathematical modelling of ultrasound propagation and acoustic cavitation in soft tissue.
