We are thrilled to announce that the BioMech Fusion team has actively participated in the 4th International Conference on Key Enabling Technologies (KEYTECH-2024), held at Dublin City University, Ireland. Our team presented three groundbreaking conference papers that address critical engineering challenges.
The BioMech Fusion Research Group is proud to announce that its project, "Design and Development of Back Support System for Maintaining Spinal Health," under the supervision of Dr. Shummaila Rasheed has been awarded the prestigious National Grassroots ICT Research Initiative (IGNITE) Funding 2023-24.
This recognition highlights the group’s dedication to advancing spinal health through cutting-edge technology and innovative design. The back support system aims to effectively support individuals, promote spinal well-being, and prevent common back-related issues prevalent in today’s sedentary lifestyles.
Muhammad Noman Shahid presented his research on "Fluidic Properties of Diamond and SplitP Structures with Varying Porosity Levels in Tissue Engineering Applications: A Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis" at the ICAME-24 conference held at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad.
Muhammad Usman Shahid presented his research titled "Numerical Investigation of the Heat Transfer Rate and Fluid Flow Characteristics of Conventional and Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) Based Heat Sinks" at the ICAME-24 conference held at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad.
We are delighted to share that BioMech Fusion Group has been honored as one of the winners at the 2nd Federal Engineering Capstone Expo 2024. The event, which showcased innovative projects from across the country, was held at the Pak-China Friendship Center in Islamabad. Following the event, the prize cheque ceremony took place at the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Headquarters.
At BioMech Fusion Group, We are proud to announce that the final year design project, titled "Design and Development of Back Support System for Maintaining Spinal Health," has been awarded funding through the PEC Final Year Design Project Financing (2023-24).
