About me
Before coming to BASIS, I worked for the USDA-ARS as a field technician for a wheat research lab that focused on selective breeding for disease and drought resistance. I also worked in wildlife rehabilitation and reintroduction where I had the rewarding experience of handling and caring for a variety of wild animals, including raccoons, foxes, snakes, raptors, turtles, squirrels, and so much more.
Since leaving the field of biology, I've been teaching at BASIS Prescott since it's inaugural year of 2014. I have taught a variety of Biology courses at various levels over the years along with Environmental Science. I maintain my passion for animals and the natural world and love to share my enthusiasm with my students.
