Our research is to see how the efficacy of antibiotics on Escherichia Coli is affected by different body temperatures. As many people know, when someone is experiencing an infection, the body reacts by producing a fever. Many times, doctors will prescribe antibiotics to treat the infection. However, sometimes people only take 2 days to feel better with the antibiotics, but some take longer than a week to feel better. This research gives us an insight into if body temperature effects how well the antibiotics work.
