Summer 2022 update: The SF State Bulletin shows the degree descriptions for all of the Biology majors/concentrations/minor degrees. The working checklists are available below, and they have been updated to include the EECB and Marine Science concentrations.

From AY Fall 2022-2023, majors and minor are:

• BA in General Biology

• Minor in Biology

the BS in Biology Concentrations are in:

• Cell & Molecular Biology

• Ecology, Evolution, & Conservation Biology EECB, formerly

  • Concentration in Botany

  • Concentration in Ecology

  • Concentration in Zoology

• Marine Science, formerly

  • Concentration in Marine Biology & Limnology

• Microbiology

• Physiology

Incoming new students for Fall 2022 will have declared one of these majors (or the minor).
