The Tom Duke Prize is a biennial prize (and task) given in memory of Professor Tom Duke, a pioneer in Biological Physics. The ambition behind this award is to select an ambassador capable of representing the importance of physics in addressing biological questions. Typically the Tom Duke lecturers are funded to give four seminars across the UK & Ireland, of which at least two in universities where biological physics is not already well established.Â
