Download the GitHub repository and open the HTML files. This folder contains the html and pdf versions of the tutorials and the data file used in the examples.

1. Go to the GitHub repository bioinformaticssg/Introduction-to-R
2. Click on the big green Clone or download button on the top right
3. Click Download Zip
4. The zip file Introduction-to-R-master.zip should now be in your download folder
5. Unzip and move to your desired location on your computer
6. Open Intro-to-R.html in your browser (usually clicking on the file will automatically open it in your browser)

Preparation for this meeting

1. Install R

• Go to the website R Project for Statistical Computing
• On the left side of the window, under Download, click on "CRAN"
• Choose the CRAN Mirror closest to your location

    • University of California, Berkeley, CA
    • University of California, Los Angeles, CA
• Download R for your operating system

2. Install RStudio

• Go to the website for RStudio downloads
• Scroll to the bottom of the page, to "Installers for Supported Platforms"
• Choose the download for your operating system
