Bioinformatica Indica offers opportunity to present your original research work as Oral presentations or Poster presentations. Kindly make sure that the submitted abstract falls under the themes of this edition of the symposium.
Submit an abstract that falls within the themes of the symposium. The abstract should be sent to bioindica@gmail.com with the subject line BioIndica 2022: Abstract -<author’s name>. The abstract should adhere to the following:
Abstract should not exceed 300 words (NOT including title, authors and affiliation).
It should NOT include any tables, images, pictures or references.
Please use the font Arial (12 size) and single spacing.
Authors: Include author's name(s) (first name, middle initial, surname), affiliation, city and country and email address of the corresponding author.
Identify the presenting author by underlining his/her name.
The file should be send as a *.ODT / *.DOC / *.DOCX file suitable for processing with LibreOffice Writer / Microsoft Word.
Abstract should be received on or before December 31, 2021. Acceptance of the abstract will be communicated to the presenting authors on or before January 03, 2022 by email only.
The scientific committee will examine and select abstracts for oral/ poster presentations respectively.
Abstracts selected for oral presentations: The presenting author will be given 3 min to present their work.
Save your file with your name (e.g. Rajesh.ppt, Rajesh.pptx or Rajesh.pdf ) and send the slides to bioindica@gmail.com before January 05, 2022.
Max number of slides: 10 slides
Do not include large raw data sets as such in slides.
Simplicity is the Key. Kindly keep to the point, and don't try to cover too many things. Present only enough data to support your conclusions. On the other hand, make sure that you present significant data to support your conclusions.
The certificate for oral presentation will be issued in the name of the presenting author.
Abstracts selected for poster presentation: The guideline for the poster presentation
Save your file with your name (e.g. Rajesh.ppt, Rajesh.pptx or Rajesh.pdf ) and send the slides to bioindica@gmail.com before January 05, 2022.
Poster size has to be Lanscape (16 x 9).
The posters should be in a single sheet and it should have good reading quality.
Poster should have a title, should include the name(s) of the author(s) and affiliation(s). It should also include the email address of the corresponding author.
The main body of the poster can include sections such as introduction, materials and methods, experimental procedures, results, discussion and conclusion. The use of diagrams is encouraged especially if it reduces the text.
The title should be Arial / 80pt / Bold with the names of the authors and affiliations in Arial / 48pt / Bold-Italic. The subheadings should be bold with 48pt character size and all text including figure legends in 28pt character size.
If the allotted poster is not displayed or the author is not present at the stipulated time, no certificate of poster presentation will be issued.

The organizers and editors reserve the right to reject any abstract that does not meet the above requirements, and to edit abstracts if required.
Selection for oral/poster abstracts based on its scientific value is the sole discretion of the scientific committee.
