Devi Prasanna Behera is a postdoctoral researcher in the Biophysical Sciences Group at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata. He is currently engaged in the development of advanced super-resolution fluorescence microscopy techniques for studying molecular interactions and dynamics at the nanoscale.
He earned his Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where his research focused on protein aggregation and disaggregation, protein-ligand interactions, and conformational dynamics of biomolecules. Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his M.Sc. in Chemistry from Ravenshaw University and his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT).
His expertise includes spectroscopy, microscopy, and a broad range of biophysical techniques for studying protein structure, dynamics, and interactions.
In addition to his academic pursuits, he enjoys reading books and watching movies during his leisure time.
