Immersion of PVC plates in Normandy ports
The aim of this project is to collect photos that will enable the automated identification of species in order to improve the monitoring of biofouling. The observations will also enable an inventory of species and stages of colonization, according to the seasons and the different ports in Normandy.
The goal is to improve the management of marine biofouling in order to reduce the use of biocides, which are harmful to the environment and to studu marine biodiversity.
