Dr. Kumar Sourav is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SR University, Telangana, INDIA. Earlier, he worked at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University, USA, and the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Madras, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, his research specializes in Fluid-Structure Interactions, Low Reynolds Number Flows, and Bio-mimetics. His contributions to the field are evidenced by his numerous publications in journals like the 'International Journal of Mechanical Sciences (IJMS)', 'Physics of Fluids (POF)' and 'Ocean Engineering (OE).' His expertise extends to underwater dynamics, flapping wing dynamics, and fish-like swimming, reflecting a keen interest in bio-inspired engineering solutions.
