- Interested in both space exploration AND biology? Genes in Space combines the two. Submit an idea for an experiment to be run aboard the International Space Station (ISS). If they like your idea, you may end up as one of the finalists.

- Submit a brief summary of an interesting biomedical project of yours, and receive a monetary award if you win as well as a permanent CABA membership!
- Submit a research paper about a solution for environmental problems. This solution must involve biotechnology!
- If you are one of 10 finalist teams, present your idea at New York in front of judges and win at least $1,000! First place gets $10,000.
