Bioinformatics Courses
Bioinformatics Center, NTHU
In addition to our existing web-based bioinformatics tools platform (including sequence annotation, sequence search tools, and structural genomics tools), we also combine the new methodologies of bioinformatics to handle large-scale data which generated from high-throughput sequencing technologies. The microbial structural genomics project is an integrated web service designed to provide a total solution for user to understand biological meaning behind large-scale sequencing data. This platform can provide primarily support of bioinformatics needs for biology researchers, and also provide customized services for academic and industry communities.
Bioinformatics and Bio-Database
In this course, we will introduce essential servers, databases and online tools in Bioinformatics. We will also conduct hand-on exercises in functional genomics and protein analyses.
1. Finding Sequences.
2. Sequence Comparison.
3. Sequence Alignment.
4. Structure Comparison and Display.
5. Model Building.
TBI Core FacilityWorkshop- Structrual Bioinformatics
- Introduction to Structrual Bioinformatics
- Practical Pymol for Beginners
To promote the development of bioinformatics to support the research in National Research Program for Genomic Medicine, we had planned a curriculum of bioinformatics courses and training resources in computational proteomics.
