To provide access to lab equipment and bench space to individuals regardless of their field of specialization (Convergence)(Hobbyists, citizen scientists, students).
Develop a DIY community lab for underprivileged population
Integrate the academia and industries involvement.
Promote citizen science, while keeping up with the recent trends in modern biological technologies: Synthetic biology, computational biology etc.

Synthetic Biology wave is on the rise, and sooner or later just like everyone carries a computer in his pocket, people will be doing biological experiments and projects right from their home. It is inevitable.
The establishment of Biohacking spaces well in advance will help the country cope with the safe and rewarding use of the technology in future.
It will pave a way for innovations and researches with local impact, by responsibly involving citizens from diverse backgrounds.
Fruitful collaborations among different academia and industries, by acting as a hub.
