The SFCC Basic Needs Program is ready to help you navigate resources both on and off campus. You can find resources on food, clothing/hygiene products, shelters, health/mental health support, transportation, childcare services, and crisis and emergency contacts on the SFCC Basic Needs website. You can reach the Basic Needs Program directly at SFCC.BasicNeeds@sfcc.spokane.edu.
The program has recently published a resource directory, which can be found here: SFCC Campus and Community Resource Directory. This directory provides basic needs resources; important campus contacts, including Guided Pathways Specialists; a list of all-gender restrooms and restrooms with showers, changing tables, and a breastfeeding room on campus; and information on the Basic Food, Employment, and Training Program, where you could qualify for up to $50 gas vouchers twice a month.
You are also highly encouraged to utilize Skitch's Food Pantry, which is available to all students who are currently enrolled at SFCC. Skitch's Food Pantry may be used up to three times per quarter. The pantry is located in SFCC Building 17, room 107A. You may reach the pantry at 509-533-4198. Online orders can be placed through the Skitch's Food Pantry Online Ordering Form.
