Hui and Bee met through a mutual friend at Hot Pot and, together, published a Lancet Public Health systematic review on Transgender mental health in China.
Wisteria and Bee met in a Chinese queer academic women's group and hiked on East Rock Mountain in New Haven, CT. On their first trip, besides sightseeing the red leaves rolling across the White Mountains, they developed an idea to initiate a project for people coming from the same background and sharing similar experiences with us - Chinese LGBTQ+ immigrants in America.
Ching and Bee are colleagues and hiking companions, probably the only Chinese-speaking mental health physicians in Roanoke, VA. They are both going to become child psychiatrists and have more impact on young people.

The QCiA project is just a start. More studies will come up for LGBTQ+.
