A Journey Beyond the Classroom
My SEA-Teacher Experience in the Philippines
My SEA-Teacher Experience in the Philippines
This blog shares my journey as a participant in the SEA-Teacher Program in the Philippines. Through this experience, I had the opportunity to observe classrooms, teach students, and engage in meaningful cultural exchange. More than just a teaching practice, this journey became a valuable moment of learning, growth, and connection across cultures.
I am Binta Zakia, an English Education student from Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, who participated in the SEA-Teacher Program in the Philippines. I joined this program with a strong passion for teaching and a curiosity to experience education in a different country. From the very beginning, I was excited to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and learn from real classroom situations. This journey has not only shaped my teaching skills but also broadened my perspective as a future educator.
Through this blog, I would like to share my experiences, challenges, and unforgettable moments during my stay in the Philippines. I hope this journey can inspire others to explore, learn, and grow beyond boundaries.
