Kodamanjil Urukiyavar: Karshakanezhuthiya Kudiyetta Jeevitham is a rereading of the history of agricultural migration to the High Ranges in the Idukki district of Kerala in the Western Ghats. It is narrated by Shri. Devasia Kuzhikattu who migrated as a young farmer to the new lands half a century ago. Along with providing a first person account of the struggles of farmer migration, the author also pens down his views on the lives and experiences of the farmers in the cold and hilly regions of Kerala, spices and their farming methods, and the relationship existing between man and nature. The book was edited by Dr. Bins Sebastian and published by Paideia Books, New Delhi in 2017.
