My career began with a curiosity about the physical principles underlying everyday phenomena, which led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. During my final semester, I explored the ROOT software framework developed at CERN for particle data analysis — an experience that sparked my interest in experimental particle physics. Motivated to deepen this understanding, I completed a Master’s degree with a specialization in High Energy Physics, where my thesis focused on analyzing proton–proton collision data at 8 TeV recorded by the CMS experiment at CERN.
This experience became a natural stepping stone toward my PhD in High Energy Physics, during which I was also a member of the House of Young Talent for two years. For my doctoral research, I analyzed 13 TeV collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment at CERN, measuring the production cross-section of top–antitop quark pairs in association with a photon. The result was further interpreted within the framework of Effective Field Theory (EFT) to probe possible deviations from the Standard Model.
Beyond high-energy physics, I have also worked as a staff scientist analyzing medical data, specifically studying the microbiome information of anorexia patients. This research involved longitudinal data and focused on assessing treatment effects using advanced statistical analysis.
