Bin Gui

I am a systems scientist with a strong background in analyzing complex systems and developing practical solutions. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics, I have a solid foundation in programming and data analysis, which I apply to my work on transportation projects.

Since joining the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2020, I have contributed to multiple transportation projects. My expertise includes large-scale network simulation, real-time traffic prediction, and web development, with proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks.

I value interdisciplinary collaboration and strive to work effectively with diverse teams, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. I continually seek to improve my communication skills to better convey complex concepts in an accessible manner, positioning myself as a reliable systems educator and consultant.
