Do we need to fill out an application if we have tried out for Bingham cheer before?
Yes! This information is very important for creating the team, future rosters, phone lists, etc.

What is the summer practice schedule?
Practices will start the Monday following graduation. We practice Monday-Thursday in June from 6:30 to 10 AM. The last practice day in June is June 27th.
Practices will resume on July 28th and continue until the first day of school. We will have two games before school begins. Remember that missed summer practices will result in not being able to cheer at the football games.

What is the practice schedule during the school year?
Monday nights from 6 to 9:00 PM with an occasional practice on Saturday.
4th period until 3:30 PM during the school year.
Do all returners tryout again?
Yes. No one is guaranteed a position on the team. Everyone will need to tryout again.
How does it work for 9th graders?
4 classes at the middle school, 2 online, and cheer or
4 classes at the middle school, seminary and another class at Bingham
How many videos can be uploaded on the application?
5 Video are optional to upload
Do athletes need to have their physicals completed before tryouts?
No! Most physicals can be completed by your pediatrician after tryouts or at Bingham High School.
Do we practice during fall and winter breaks?
Fall break will depend on the bracket. We typically have a football game on the last day of fall break, so please plan on being back from any scheduled trips for the that game. We will also practice on that Friday.
Winter Break will have a practice when we have games; however, we do not have the basketball schedule yet, so this is TBA.
Has anyone received scholarships?
Yes. We have had many cheerleaders go on to cheer at the collegiate level: Weber, Utah, Utah State, UVU, SUU, UCF, San Diego State, Boise, and Snow.
Do you do fundraisers throughout the year?
Yes. We are continually looking for ways to alleviate the financial burden of being a cheerleader. It is up to the athlete and parents to take advantage of fundraising.
How many teams do you plan to have?
Two, unless everyone fits better into one, but we typically have two.
Can they play other sports?
There is no way for cheerleaders to be able to play on other sports teams because of how intense the cheer schedule is.
We also highly discourage anyone from doing all star programs as it is very conflicting with the schedule.
