Tuwaqachi is the 4th world to have existed in Hopi mythology, and it's the world where humans live today. Here live the Tasavuhta tribe, the skull-breakers, and the Hopitu-shinumu, the people of peace. Tuwaqachi is doomed to disappear to make way for a 5th world.
For me, this EP represents a concentration of all my inspirations in electronic music.
It features both melodic and mechanical sounds, as well as a strong presence of percussion, which is an essential element in my creative process. The percussion adds a traditional texture, while at the same time blending naturally with the synthesizers.
In the midst of these electronic sounds, there are also more soothing moments, capable of evoking a form of nostalgia.
This track is one of the first to be created by a newly-formed duo who pick from a wide range of influences, and its aim is to pay tribute to the origins of techno and the artists who like to place themselves at the very edge of it. As such, Arkadía refers to a mythical era of peace and concord.
The digital forest is dense, its atmosphere heavy and sticky. Digital and analogue species are moving here slowly. Every second is stretched out to the maximum, creating a calm and familiar climate. The journey will be long and many encounters will be made.
Recorded in Paris, in total improvisation, this live set mixes soaring drones, ethereal melodies and dark timbres. It combines analogue and digital sounds, playing on polyrythmic tape loops.
In a vast plant illuminated by bluish glow, robots bustle about, silent and precise. Their world has no heartbeat, but mechanical rhythms, digital pulses vibrating in the circuits and cables. Their role is simple, but fascinating: they create music.
The year is 2105, and every musical composition now comes from robots. Selected for their surgical precision and their ability to generate perfect sounds, they have become the undisputed masters of sound creation. Human music, on the other hand, is strictly forbidden, considered an imperfection to be banished.
But at the heart of this machine-controlled era is a group of rebels who refuse to bow to the norm. Known as Binaural Fusion, these revolutionaries are fighting to re-establish a balance between humans and robots. They firmly believe that the future of music lies in the fusion of the two, and not in the domination of a single form. Their fight is unwavering, and they continue, in the shadows, to keep this forbidden harmony alive.

For this first EP, the artist wished to put everything he had of a personal affection for electronic music in the broadest sense, it's an ode to "techno tools" combining groove, minimal techno sounds as well as ambient and jungle. Dark atmospheres, raw rhythms and industrial sounds are the DNA of this EP.
