This is the official website for the BIM High School and Middle School Library! You can use this website to either see what books we have in the library, see books' check out status, see library hours, place holds, and view recommendations from our staff. By using the BIM High/Middle School Library, you agree to the following policies. Disregarding or breaking any policies could result in a temporary or permanent ban.
In order to use the BIM High/Middle School Library and website, you must be in grades 5-12 and you must be a current BIM Student.
Check Out Policy:
Books must be returned within 2 weeks of being checked out.
To make an exception (ie. for books that are required for class) please get in touch through the "Contact Us!" section or speak with a student librarian in person.
You must give a viable email address and name in order to check out a book. This is so that we can send you reminders regarding deadlines and holds.
Renewal Policy: If you haven't finished a book within the two week time limit, you may have your checkout renewed. In order to do so, please get in contact either through the "Contact Us!" section or in-person at least 24 hours before the book is due. If you need a book for class that may need to be checked out for an extended period of time, please get in touch!
Library Usage Policy:
Books should be returned in the same or a similar condition to when they were checked out. Vandalizing, tearing, or damaging books is never permitted.
Lost Books should be reported in the "Contact Us!" form, located in the respective section, before the respective book's due date.
Library Conduct Policy:
Respect the space. Purposefully damaging or disrupting the space may have you removed.
Respect student librarians and/or anyone working for the library. Being disrespectful may trigger a ban.
Books may be read without being checked out as long as they are within the boundaries of the library. In order to take a book out, it must be checked out.
