Soul Walk North invites you to visit historic landmarks where music thrived in Portland’s Black community. Learn about Albina’s past, listen to the music that built its legacy, and hear from those helping to shape its future.
Visit the walk’s starting location: The intersection of Williams Ave. and Russell St. in Portland, Oregon. The walk goes live June 14th, 2026.
Explore Albina’s musical legacy at the launch of SOUL WALK NORTH, a new audio walking experience through one of Portland’s most important historically Black neighborhoods.

We invite members and the broader Portland community to participate in a four-part public meeting series. These gatherings are designed to shape the future of the Billy Webb Elks Lodge through five core pillars: Community Voice, Membership Growth, Leadership Succession, Financial Sustainability, and Cultural Legacy.

• Strengthen Membership Growth - Explore strategies to welcome
new members while deepening engagement with current ones.
• Plan for Leadership Succession - Ensure continuity through mentorship, development, & future leadership pathways.
• Advance Organizational Sustainability - Discuss programming relevance & long-term viability.
