Billy’s Girl Upholstery & Soft Furnishings, is a creative upholstery studio in Calne, Wiltshire, offering high‑quality furniture restoration, bespoke cushions, made‑to‑measure soft furnishings, and modern or traditional reupholstery services. With professional training in pattern cutting, design, and upholstery, the studio combines craftsmanship with a design eye to transform chairs, sofas, headboards, ottomans, and family heirlooms.

Serving Calne, Chippenham, Devizes, Marlborough, and surrounding areas. Blending traditional skills with a contemporary aesthetic, the studio creates pieces that feel personal, considered, and built to last.

Traditional or modern upholstery refurbishment or repairs

• • Restoration begins with a thorough assessment of the furniture, identifying issues such as worn-out fabrics, damaged padding, or structural weaknesses.

  • We use traditional techniques, including hand-tied springs and hair stuffing, to ensure that the restored piece reflects its original craftsmanship. Our preference is to re use where we can retaining the original material

Loose Covers

• • Hand made loose covers protect you loved furniture we can measure and make covers in any style with the fabric of your choice for the perfect fit.

Headboards

• • If you need headboards handmade from scratch or repair/refurbishment. Wall or bed mounted headboards we can replace, enhance and recover. Adding deep buttons or lighting, switch or charging points.

Soft Furnishings

• • We can make or refurbish cushions, from scatter cushions, large sofas and sun loungers we can advise on the options of fillings and the fabrics.

  • Curtains & blinds - Every job is done with precision and care. from measuring to sewing. We ensure every aspect and detail is tailored to perfection, to your satisfaction.
