Here is a collection of 450 chess victories by former world chess champion Boris Spassky (1937-2025) during his active chess career. At age 10, he was the youngest Soviet first category player. At age 11, he was the youngest Soviet candidate master. At age 15, he was the youngest Soviet chess master. In 1955, he won the World Junior Chess Championship. In 1956, he became the world youngest grandmaster at age 19. In 1969, he defeated grandmaster Tigran Petrosian to become world champion. In 1972, he lost the world championship to Robert Fischer during their match in Reykjavik, Iceland. Spassky’s chess games in this collection are arranged by opening to show his opening repertoire. His games contain many theoretical novelties with some brilliant tactical play. Light annotations have been added to all the games, including many diagrams at critical positions.
