🔹 1. Who can apply for a grant?

Our grants are open to individuals, nonprofits, academic institutions, social enterprises, and organizations that align with our mission. We welcome applicants from all countries and communities.

🔹 2. How do I apply for a grant?

Visit the Apply for a Grant Now page. Submit your proposal via email or WhatsApp, including your project summary, funding request, timeline, and contact information.

🔹 3. Are there deadlines for applying?

Yes. Each grant has a specific application deadline listed on the Grant Opportunities page. Late submissions will not be considered for that cycle.

🔹 4. Do I need to pay to apply?

No. We never charge any application, registration, or processing fees. If someone asks for money on behalf of the Gates Foundation, it is a scam. Please report it.

🔹 5. Can individuals apply, or is it only for organizations?

Both individuals and organizations can apply. However, preference is given to those who demonstrate strong capacity to implement, manage, and report on their proposed projects.

A complete grant proposal should include:

Grant reviews typically take 4–8 weeks after the submission deadline. Finalists may be contacted for interviews or additional documentation.

Yes. You may apply for multiple grants if your proposals align with different focus areas. However, each proposal must be unique and tailored to the specific grant criteria.

🔹 9. How will I know if I’ve been selected?

Selected applicants will be contacted directly via email or WhatsApp. We may also publish selected grantees (with permission) on the website or in newsletters.

🔹 10. Is there support for writing or preparing a proposal?
