As an artist practicing in the field of engineering, I see beauty in the man-made environment and try to show this in my artwork and projects. In recent work, I have been creating smaller scale pieces, incorporating recycled materials to reduce my personal impact on the environment. Similarly, in my many years practicing engineering, I look for opportunities to use my creative skills to optimize a design or construction method to reduce its impact on the environment.
