Subscription and reminder data is stored locally in your browser via Chrome’s storage API.

BillHawk requires certain Chrome permissions to function:
activeTab / tabs – to analyze the current page for subscription details when you trigger detection.
storage – to save your subscriptions and reminder settings locally.
notifications & alarms – to schedule and show renewal reminders.
identity (optional) – to let you connect Gmail for email reminders.
host permissions – to scan checkout and account pages across websites for subscription info.
You can add or remove subscriptions at any time.
You may disconnect Gmail at any time to stop email reminders.
You may uninstall the extension at any time, which removes all locally stored data.
